Bluebeard: A Fairytale for Adults

This fairytale frolic is a feast of raw entertainment for mischievous adults. Bluebeard is a low-fi spectacular, using pedals to produce power and pulleys to wreak revenge. With tongue-in-cheek cabaret song and lyrical narration this is seductive storytelling at its best.

Based on Charles Perrault’s folktale of the same name, this is a tale of a violent nobleman in the habit of murdering his wives. A wild the retelling of marriage, temptation, and retribution.

The show was supported by Battersea Arts Centre, The Point, Eastleigh and Arts Council England, and was nominated for the Total Theatre Award 2011.
